If you are coming as a group of four or more, a quick WhatsApp message 24 hours before helps us prepare. For private tastings or events, we ask for at least one week's notice for small groups and two to four weeks for larger gatherings.
A guided tasting is a structured, one-on-one or small group consultation with Amir. He will map your palate against a curated flight of three to five cigars, explaining wrapper profiles, filler blends, and how each vitola's size affects the flavour curve. Sessions typically run 90 minutes to two hours and are conducted in the lounge. The cost of cigars is separate and discussed in advance. These sessions are well suited to collectors building their palate, clients shopping for a special occasion, or groups new to cigars who want a proper introduction.
This is assessed on a case-by-case basis. CNX Cigars is primarily a retail lounge, and bringing outside cigars is not the default expectation. These are structured by Amir based on the flavour profiles of both the tobacco and the spirits being served, rather than generic pairings. For individual or small group sessions of two to four people, one week's notice is generally sufficient. For groups of five or more, two weeks is preferred. For full private event buy-outs or B2B consultations, four weeks minimum allows us to prepare properly. Peak periods around Chiang Mai's high season, November through February, tend to fill quickly. Earlier is always better.
